Candid, documentary style family photography at home, around the neighborhood, or wherever you spend your days together. Nothing special has to happen, and no one needs to perform for the camera.

A session shaped around your family.
Stay home. Get ice cream. Walk the same loop you always do. I follow the rhythm of the day and photograph the expressions, gestures, and small negotiations that make this season yours.
Children do not need to sit still or look at the camera. They can play, take breaks, and stay close to you. We will make a few gently posed photographs, too, but there is no pressure.
A gallery from the day and a photograph you can hold.
The printed photograph is part of the experience. It might sit on a bedroom shelf, travel to school in a backpack, or turn up later in a family drawer.
After viewing the gallery, you choose which photograph becomes your high quality 4×6 print. Your digital files are high-resolution and unwatermarked, with permission to print and share them for personal use.
At home, outside, or along the route your family already knows.
Sessions are currently available in Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, and Mercer Island. Any session can include more than one location, but travel time is part of your purchased session length.
Questions families often have.
What if my children do not cooperate?
They do not need to perform. Children can play, move, take breaks, and stay close to you. We will try a few gently posed photographs without pressure, then keep following the family’s rhythm.
Who can be part of the session?
Immediate family, extended family, and pets are welcome. Six or fewer participants usually creates the best experience; the firm maximum is eight.
What if someone is sick or the weather changes?
With at least 24 hours’ notice, you may reschedule once without a fee. Light rain may mean moving indoors or adjusting the plan. Changes with less than 24 hours’ notice have a $100 rescheduling fee, and your retainer moves to the new date.
What if we need to cancel?
The 30% retainer reserves time for your family and is kept if the session is cancelled.
Will our photographs be shared publicly?
Only with separate permission. Choosing not to allow portfolio, Journal, social-media, or marketing use will never affect your session.
